Founder and creator of Abotar Traditional : Lordlove kofi Ansah,    (alias Egya Suayansa) 

Abotar Traditionals was created in year  2001 when he came out from his fathers drumming and dancing group known as Apatampa Mbetsie.

When there were no positions available in other companies, providing young, talented artists with a means to express thier power, passion and talent  for drumming and dancing.
 
The members included  four female and four male dancers, and five male drummers. they all originate from Ghana and contribute a variety of techniques,skills and experience in drumming , dancing, singing, fire show and dance dramer.

Several members has been participated in regoinal or national groups in thier specialities, others have performed  with other leading Ghanaian companies.

Every member has sacrificed his or her time, energy and earnings for the group's success,they depend on donations to fund such necessities such us drums,costums,jewels, first aid kits , and transport as the youth programmes are performed for free of charge and income from paid performance minimal. 

Currently conducts drumming adn dancing lesson upon request, lesson can be arrenged to suit individual and levels.
